8 Warriston Crescent is an historic 19th century, A listed house, situated within the New Town Conservation Area. Set over three floors with beautiful period stone staircase, this wonderful, elegant and above all comfortable family house provides a balance of classic Georgian features and stylish up to date decor. The main house has the original triple-windowed 21’ drawing room, elegant family room, large dining kitchen, 4 bedrooms, shower room, bathroom, cloakroom , and a large south facing garden (sleeps 6-8).
An additional suite, situated in the original kitchen, has its own entrance, an inter-connecting door to the main house, and a small patio. Accommodation comprises double bedroom, snug with sofa bed, kitchenette and shower room.
Pets and children are very welcome and there is plenty of pay and display parking.
This charming crescent is a ten minute walk or a short bus trip to Princes’ Street and the Royal Mile which are both less than a mile away. This service also connects you directly to Edinburgh Waverley, various car hire companies and the airport links. Edinburgh airport is a 15 min drive or 25 min bus journey, and all main auto routes are easily accessible and well sign posted. Ocean Terminal and the popular Leith eateries are minutes away.
Warriston Crescent has the benefit of nearby shops and cafes on Inverleith Row, as well as a supermarket, petrol station and post office. The Inverleith area, birthplace of Robert Louise Stevenson ten minute walk along the picturesque Water of Leith path takes you to the village of Stockbridge, where there is a large selection of local traders, bars and cafes. Continuing on this path you will arrive at the Dean Village and the Modern Art and Dean Galleries.
